Caroline Whitley - Maid of Honor / Bride's Sister

Janey met Caroline back in 2003 and was thrilled to gain a new little sister—even though their relationship has evolved over time. From having completely opposite personalities and hobbies growing up to attending rival colleges (Clemson Tigers vs. Carolina Gamecocks), their journey has been marked by contrasts and competition. Despite their differences, Caroline's honest opinions have always been a guiding light.

Through all the recent life changes—graduations, moves, and now wedding planning—Caroline has been an invaluable source of support. Janey is overjoyed to have Caroline be a part of their wedding day. Her presence means so much, and Janey can't wait to share this special moment with her.

Kaitlyn Ayala - Bridesmaid / Bride's Best Friend

Janey met Kaitlyn in 2018 at Clemson, where they initially bonded as fellow members of Tiger Band and residents of Byrnes Hall, just two floors apart. What started as a forced friendship quickly blossomed into late-night walks from the band field to their dorms, and eventually grew into a deep and lasting connection. Over time, they became best friends, then sisters, and even roommates. Today, they spend hours on the phone every day, sharing everything from law school drama to construction site stories.

Kaitlyn has been a steadfast presence through both the toughest times and the happiest moments. She was the very first person Janey told when she knew she was going to marry Bill. Despite her initial efforts to remain neutral, Kaitlyn now wholeheartedly admits that Bill is Janey's perfect match. Janey is thrilled to have Kaitlyn join them on their wedding day. Her unwavering support has been invaluable, and Janey is excited to celebrate this occasion with someone who means so much.

Hannah Kadets - Bridesmaid / Bride's Best Buddie

Janey met Hannah in Tiger Band and, with characteristic determination, told her they were going to be friends. And they were—best buddies throughout college, sharing countless sleepovers and exploring new cities on every band trip. Hannah has always been the voice of reason, skillfully talking Janey out of many questionable decisions.

Even after college, when Hannah returned to Michigan for vet school and Janey moved to Raleigh, their bond remained unbreakable. Distance hasn't changed a thing; they've continued to be "best buddies" through it all. Janey is thrilled to have Hannah by her side as she and Bill start this new chapter, knowing that Hannah's support and friendship will make this journey even more special.

Natasha Ramesh - Bridesmaid / Bride's Fraternity Brother

Nat and Janey first crossed paths when Nat joined the Kappa Kappa Psi Music Fraternity in college. Their bond quickly grew as they connected over their shared Big Brother, and by Janey's senior year, their friendship had deepened significantly. Whether it was through band rehearsals, fraternity activities, or simply unwinding together at home or in the Clemson Makerspace—where they balanced homework with a bit of goofing off—Nat became an essential part of Janey's college experience.

As Janey and Bill start this exciting new chapter, Janey is overjoyed to have Nat by her side. Their friendship has been a cherished constant, and Nat's support continues to mean the world to her.

Shannon Russell - Bridesmaid / Groom's Sister

Janey is thrilled to have Shannon as a cherished member of the wedding party. Shannon is not only an incredible sister-in-law-to-be but also a trusted friend and confidante. Her guidance and advice have been invaluable to Janey, and her warmth and generosity have made countless moments special. Whether they are exploring new cities, shopping, or enjoying a meal together, Shannon brings joy and laughter into every experience. Janey is so grateful to have Shannon up there by her side on this special day!

Jack Pashby - Best Man / Groom's Brother

Jack Pashby, Bill's brother and Best Man, has been a central figure in Bill's life since 1997. While, like most siblings, they had their fair share of arguments growing up, they grew very close in the last years of college and into their adult lives. For 21 years, they shared a room, supporting each other through every milestone.

Their journey together continued at NC State, where they graduated in the same year—Jack with a master's degree and Bill with his undergraduate degree. Jack's move to Charleston added a special layer to Bill's decision to marry a Charleston native. When Bill began the search for an engagement ring, Jack was the first person he called, highlighting the depth of their relationship.

Bill is honored to have Jack by his side as he embarks on this new chapter with Janey, knowing that their shared history and support will make the day even more meaningful.

Coleman Theodore - Groomsman

Although Bill had known of Coleman since 2017, the two officially met in Summer of 2020. Their friendship truly solidified when they became roommates in August 2022. Coleman moved in with Bill when he bought his house that same month, quickly proving himself as an ever-present and reliable friend. Coleman was the first person to know that Bill was dating "this girl".

Coleman's enthusiasm for adventure knows no bounds; he's always up for a good time, no matter where or when. After moving to Arizona in the summer of 2023, Coleman and Bill have continued their friendship, often spending hours on the phone discussing pointless topics, life, and everything in between.

Daniel Mock - Groomsman

Daniel and Bill's friendship began in the fall of 2016 while they were both studying Computer Engineering at NC State. They first met in their ECE 200 class, "Introduction to Signals, Circuits, and Systems,"" and quickly bonded over their shared passion for engineering and the NC State Wolf Pack.

Their time together included long study sessions in Engineering Building 2 and Hunt Library, as well as attending nearly every home football game. They were known for arriving hours early to just snag the best seats, always front and center.

Daniel was one of the few who knew about Bill's proposal plans and played a special role in capturing the moment. He and his now-fiancée, Haley Byers, “just happened to be” walking their dog and after stopping to chat with Janey and Bill, suggested they should get a photo of the beautiful scenery.

Connor Todd - Groomsman

Connor and Bill first crossed paths in the same class as Daniel. Connor's first words to Bill were, “Were you homeschooled?” — a question that turned out to be true, as Bill was indeed homeschooled his entire life.

Connor often jokes about being a “father figure” to Bill, which has led to some questionable life advice and outlandish activities. While Bill might never openly admit it, he has always looked up to Connor as a mentor. But let's keep that between us—Connor might let it go to his head!

Janey and Bill are overjoyed to include the entire Todd family in the wedding celebrations. Cait, Connor's wife, played a key role in capturing beautiful engagement photos in September, and their two daughters, Faith and Lilly, are thrilled to be the couple's flower girls in June.

Austin Russell - Groomsman / Groom's Brother in Law

Austin and Bill first met in 2021, and in the summer of 2022, when Bill's lease was up and he was preparing to purchase his first home, he moved in with his sister and Austin for a few months. Their warm hospitality was a huge help during Bill's transition. Austin and Shannon tied the knot in October 2023, and since then, Austin has become a cherished member of the family.

Austin is known for his impressive culinary skills and his knack for hosting unforgettable dinner parties. He's also a talented pianist and loves to guide friends through cities he knows well.

Nate Young - Groomsman / Usher

Nate and Bill's friendship began over twelve years ago in Boy Scouts, where they shared countless adventures, including a memorable two-week-long backpacking trip that helped to solidify their friendship. After college, Nate moved to Ohio, but distance has never weakened their connection. Whether it's a quick text or a long conversation, they pick up right where they left off, no matter how much time has passed. Nate's easygoing nature and shared history with Bill make him a treasured member of the wedding party.

Bennett Meyer - Groomsman / Usher

Bill met Bennett in their second year of college, where they bonded over engineering classes and countless late-night Xbox game sessions. From marathon study sessions to in-game rivalries, their friendship only grew stronger with time. After college, they added weekend biking trips to the mix, keeping their connection alive beyond campus. Bennett's steady support and sense of fun make him one of Bill's closest friends, and Bill is grateful to have him here to celebrate.

Austen Peeples - Groomsman / Usher

Austen and Bill became fast friends in college, joining the same close-knit circle with Daniel, Connor, Carey, Nate. Known for his loyalty and willingness to go the extra mile, Austen has always been there for his friends without hesitation. Whether it's tackling challenges or celebrating victories, Austen's dependable nature has made him a cherished part of Bill's life. Bill is thrilled to have someone as genuine as Austen by his side for this special day.

His unique personality and playful banter brought plenty of laughter to their group, making him a memorable friend over the years. Carey's fun-loving nature has always added lightheartedness to any gathering, and Bill is thrilled to have him as part of this special day.

Nate Girton - Groomsman / Usher

Known as the "smart one" of the group, Nate met Bill in college, and they now work together at John Deere. Though Nate's appearances at social gatherings are rare, they're always appreciated, bringing his realist outlook and dry wit. Bill is glad to have Nate by his side for this special celebration.
